LFS Faculty Involved in Asia-Pacific Research

  • Professor Rick Barichello: Vietnam, Indonesia
    Dr. Barichello works on institutional economic issues with government agencies throughout the world focusing on topics of regulation and trade policy, international commodity, agreements and international food policy.
  • Dean Murray Isman, South East Asia
    Dr. Isman has been evaluating botanically based insecticides derived from trees native to Southeast Asia.
  • Professor Tim Green – Malaysia, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia
    Dr. Green has designed and implemented large population studies evaluating micronutrient status, particularly folate and vitamin D, in women of reproductive age in several countries. He is currently working on evaluating vitamin A and iron status among women and children in Cambodia in a controlled intervention study with Professor Judy McLean. He has also worked with numerous international organizations, including the WHO, and NGOs.
  • Professor Judy McLean
    Professor McLean has active research programs in Vietnam and Cambodia. She is also developing international opportunities for internships and research for graduate and undergraduate students.
