The International Program at UBC Dentistry

UBC Dentistry’s undergraduate dental student international relations program is a successful and enterprising international education program operating in the Asia Pacific region (Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand) as well as Europe (U.K., Germany, Sweden, Denmark), New Zealand and Australia. Each year, approximately 30 international students come to UBC for one week to three months and gain experience in the undergraduate or graduate programs. Visiting international students are guided in the organization of their academic pursuits as well as in social and cultural programs. Through this program, several graduate students have been attracted to the faculty. UBC dental students travel to the Asia Pacific region under reciprocal arrangements.
