Fundraising Initiatives

The Campus Environment Fund
The Campus Environment Fund helps to build and maintain The University of British Columbia’s infrastructure. Contributions to the Initiative might be used to rehabilitate old facilities (such as student housing, teaching laboratories, or theatres) or to build new facilities (such as an alumni centre, additions to the Museum of Anthropology, or classrooms).

The Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship Fund will allow the Foundation to award bursaries to help Hong Kong students who could not otherwise afford to obtain a world-class education, to attend the University.

The Faculties, Schools, and Departments Fund
If you would like to benefit directly your faculty, school, or department, this initiative allows you to direct your support to a specific academic unit. Your donation will be used at the discretion of the head of that academic unit, to meet the unit’s most pressing needs.

The University of British Columbia Fund
The University of British Columbia Fund provides a source of money that can be spent every year where the need is greatest: on items that the University might otherwise not be able to afford, or on projects that it might otherwise have to postpone implementing. These might be immediate needs or long-term projects. This initiative enables the Foundation, in a flexible manner, to make significant and immediate improvements to the University.

The General Endowment Fund
The General Endowment Fund helps to build The University of British Columbia’s capital endowment for future financial security. Contributions to the University’s endowment are the most effective way of improving the University’s long-term financial security.
