APRO supports and assists various academic programs, research endeavours and academic relations in the Asia Pacific Region. Donors have continued to support UBC, including major contributions from Hong Kong, China and Japan to name a few. The UBC Hong Kong Foundation received nearly $2.5 million dollars in support of UBC in 2010 and millions more were directly donated to UBC.
